The death of someone we love is likely to be one of the most distressing experience we will ever face. Although grieving is a natural process sometimes it can be difficult to talk to family or friends so many people turn to Cruse Bereavement Care Bedfordshire and find that our independent, confidential service helps them to cope.

For those who need help, Cruse Bedfordshire offers people in Bedfordshire and Luton bereavement support. The service is free and open to anyone over the age of 18.  Our policy is to treat each bereaved person as an individual with their own needs and to offer the support that is appropriate to them at this particular time in their life.

Our Bereavement Support Volunteers have all undertaken a comprehensive training course in bereavement care and attend additional training throughout the year. Above all they are friendly, caring and professional and can help anyone who has been bereaved understand their grief and cope with the loss.

Grieving is hard work and can effect your wellbeing. But grief is not an illness. It is a natural human experience from which you can emerge to face a new and very different reality.
